The Canadian company Innovator Technologies, which was founded in 2000, produces ultra light and experimental helicopters. At the base of its helicopter product line is the ultra light Mosquito Air, designed by the Canadian John Uptigrove. A single-seater helicopter with an all open frame, it is a true helicopter in every sense of the word, despite its very basic design. The open design means that the pilot is in maximum contact with the air, which is often reported to be a great experience. The machine is powered by a 2-cycle piston engine.
This model has been developed further into the Mosquito XE.
