The LH 212 Delta is an ultralight helicopter produced by the Italian LCA Srl company. It first took flight in 2010. The LH 212 was in development for eight years and bears a striking resemblance to the DF334. However, there is no evidence that the two craft are directly-related. The Delta has a conventional pod-and-boom design and has two side-by-side seats. The forward transparency is fully clear, giving both occupants good visibility. Tandem controls are fitted as standard, making it a good training craft. Power is provided by a single 113 horsepower Rotax 914 turbocharged engine. It’s a liquid-cooled flat-four design power plant with radiators mounted behind the seats. The landing system is a simple skid design with a skid track of 1.585 m. By 2012 eleven units had been built at a cost of 165 000 Euros. A kit version is planned, but it is unclear if or when it will be available.
