The Eagle 300T is a prototype program in which Rotorway developed a type certified, two-seater, turbine powered helicopter. The model is intended for training purposes and targeted at the professional pilot who has to build turbine hours.
The Eagle 300T is powered by the Rolls Royce 300-B1 turbine engine, a derivative of the Rolls Royce RR3300 used in the Robinson R66. The 300-B1 is designed and certified for use in the Eagle 300T.
With the Eagle 300T, Rotorway is working on its second type certification program (the first was for the A600 Talon). The company has not set a release date for the Eagle 300T, and is giving priority to the A600 Talon, serving its current customer base first.
