Description |
The S2 was equiped with a 3 bladed rotor and was able to lift. However, it could not carry the weight of the pilot and it suffered from severe vibrations. Sikorsky stopped his efforts and turned his attention to fix wing aircrafts. It took until the 1930s before Sikorsky returned to design helicopters again.
